About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative tasks, expense management, and office logistics to ensure leadership remains focused on core objectives.
- Take full ownership of monthly payroll and benefits administration, managing expenses and maintaining the organization’s financial "house" regarding employee matters.
- Act as a confidential, approachable "safe harbor" for the team. Handle employee inquiries and HR-related issues with empathy, maturity, and common sense.
- Plan and execute high-impact team off-sites and on-sites. Manage all travel logistics and catering to foster a thriving culture both in-person and remotely.
- Manage the "nuts and bolts" of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and the maintenance of internal documentation.
Requirements
- Operational Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a startup, finance, or fast-paced professional environment.
- Execution Mindset: A strong preference for action and tangible results over corporate "fluff."
- Maturity and Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive information and personal employee matters with the utmost confidentiality.
- Attention to Detail: An obsession with accuracy, whether managing complex spreadsheets or coordinating intricate travel itineraries.
