About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the implementation of cybersecurity engineering requirements and authorization processes including FedRAMP and RMF.
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure IT and Cloud-based systems.
- Assist with systems engineering activities for large-scale federal and/or commercial Cloud solutions.
- Participate in Federal Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies, processes, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving system and security requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or a related field
- One or more required certifications: IAT I, IAM I, or IASAE I
- Minimum of 2 years of overall experience
- At least 1 year in Cybersecurity or Cloud Security within a U.S. Government agency, preferably of similar size/scope to DoD or VA
- Practical knowledge of federal IT security standards and frameworks
- Must be able to pass a mid-level background investigation
