About the role
- The Metal & Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring robust control design and operating effectiveness across metal and material movements, inventory accuracy, and related processes within the factory environment
- Acting as a second line of control, the role independently reviews, validates, and tests material flows and inventory transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- The position contributes to continuous improvement of inventory and movement controls, supports bi-annual physical inventory counts, and provides actionable insights to strengthen operational integrity, transparency, and risk mitigation
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or Logistics
- Proven experience in inventory control, material control, or a related function within a manufacturing or factory environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or Logistics (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in control design, inventory reconciliation, and process improvement
- Hands-on experience with ERP and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Italian speaking is mandatory, conversational in English
