About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies supporting business objectives and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead talent management processes, including succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, and workforce planning
  • Coach and guide leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and team effectiveness
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive, high-performing work environment
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to implement HR programs, change initiatives, and organizational improvements
  • Use workforce insights and HR analytics to identify trends and recommend solutions
  • Align business priorities, people strategies, and country HR objectives
  • Provide strategic and hands-on HR support across office and site-based environments
  • Engage regularly with leaders and employees across manufacturing and technical organizations
  • Report to the Country HR Business Partner, Korea / Senior HR Manager
  • Travel regularly between the Jangan site and Yongin main site

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience supporting leaders in manufacturing, engineering, technology, industrial, or other complex operational environments
  • Strong knowledge of talent management, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and Korean labor law
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders and build trusted relationships across all organizational levels
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategies with business priorities and organizational goals
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent Korean and business-level English proficiency
  • Ability to balance strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution
  • Ability to work effectively within an HR team structure while independently supporting assigned business organizations
  • Strong collaboration skills with country, regional, and global HR partners
  • Ability to balance business advocacy with enterprise-wide people and organizational priorities
  • Ability to partner with Operations, EHS, Facilities, Finance, and other support functions
  • Preferred: experience supporting manufacturing sites, engineering organizations, technology centers, laboratories, or technical functions
  • Preferred: experience in multinational and matrixed organizations
  • Preferred: experience partnering with General Managers, Site Leaders, or senior functional leaders
  • Preferred: experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent preferred
  • Individual contributor role with no direct reports
