About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support for worldwide MKS sales for V&IPS products, including product selection, specifying special configurations, and troubleshooting
- Travel to customer sites to discuss product features and integration, support testing, or troubleshoot problems
- Perform tests or demonstrations to resolve customer applications issues
- Define and document special customer product configurations based on customer needs
- Generate, review, and price special customer configurations, assist Sales and Customer Service in providing product quotations to customers
- Prepare, conduct, and participate in training and education programs focusing on product capabilities and applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. in an Engineering or Physical Science field
- 5 years in a design, applications, or manufacturing engineering role
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills for working with customers and in-house MKS personnel
- Experience, knowledge, or ability to learn vacuum technology, pressure control, mass flow controllers, vacuum valves, plasma systems, and systems integration
- Proficient in MS office and computer skills
- Ability to travel about 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
