About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the manufacturing floor
Respond to unscheduled equipment issues and perform Preventative Maintenance requirements
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions for validation and troubleshooting functions
Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy equipment malfunctions and PM requirements
Use manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment which may require some software skills
Manage lab and critical spare parts inventory at multiple MKS sites
Analyze part storage identifying automation and improvement opportunities
Assist with shipping and receiving of parts for equipment builds and critical spares supporting the manufacturing floor at multiple MKS sites
Assist with production printer management across multiple sites
Implement and maintain a PM process for printers on the manufacturing floor
Maintain database accuracy and up-to-date records as well as assist in the analyzing of data/records for improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

An AA degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training, or related on-the-job experience
2+ years’ experience with parts management (procurement, shipping/receiving, inventory)
Relative experience in a technician role assisting with repair and/or maintenance
Ability to collect and analyze basic experimental data and effectively communicate results
Demonstrated work experience with MS Office products
Candidate must be comfortable with MS Excel, Word and Outlook at a minimum
Experience with PM and/or inventory database a plus
