About the role
- Ensure that goods are correctly classified and qualified for preferential trade agreements.
- Handle inquiries from Customs and audit import trade data for accuracy and potential duty recoveries.
- Work with various departments, such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering, to ensure trade compliance processes are aligned across the organization.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in export and import operations.
- 8 years of experience trade compliance or related field
- Classifying Harmonized System codes accurately.
- Qualifying goods for preferential trade agreements.
- Responding to Customs inquiries (CF28, CF29).
- Analyzing and auditing import trade data for accuracy and duty recoveries.
- Customs Brokers License a plus
