About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain high-quality, performant web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Design and implement reusable, scalable frontend components and architecture
- Integrate with REST APIs and backend services, ensuring robust data handling and error management
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams
- Occasionally contribute to backend development (e.g., creating or extending APIs)
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities in an agile, sprint-based workflow
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and technical standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Solid understanding of frontend tools and workflows, including Node.js, npm, and Webpack
- Experience integrating with and consuming RESTful APIs
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design best practices
- Experience with styling frameworks such as Styled Components and/or Bootstrap 5
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch contexts effectively
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments**
- Exposure to Java (Spring Boot) and backend API development (Preferred)
- Full-stack mindset with the ability to contribute beyond the frontend when needed (Preferred)
- Experience with performance optimisation and frontend architecture at scale (Preferred)
- Experienced using git (Preferred)
