About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing month-end balance sheet reporting, reconciliations and reporting submissions within demanding deadlines.
Producing monthly actuals, forecasts and budgets, supported by meaningful analysis and commentary.
Partnering with commercial stakeholders to support business performance and growth.
Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards and financial models that drive decision making.
Becoming a key reporting expert within the finance team.
Analysing historical performance data and providing recommendations for future improvements.
Supporting internal and external audits.
Acting as a finance lead on ERP system developments and process improvements.
Working closely with colleagues across the business to improve compliance, efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

We're interested in people who are qualified by experience, part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or working towards a qualification.
Has at least 5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
Has advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and data analysis.
Has strong Power BI experience and can build meaningful dashboards and reporting solutions.
Is comfortable working with manual processes while helping to improve them.
Thrives in environments experiencing change and transformation.
Can remain calm, organised and focused when working to tight deadlines.
Communicates confidently with stakeholders at all levels and can explain financial information in a straightforward way.
Takes ownership, works independently and gets things done.
Enjoys challenge, development and continuous improvement.
Has experience of process mapping, systems improvement or change management.
