About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up new jobs in SAP and establish job folders
- Assist with Accounts Payable in SAP
- Administer contract billing in SAP
- Assist with the month-end close process
- Assist the Accounting Manager in creating timely and accurate financial statements
- Understand job costing reports from SAP
- Review UKG (Kronos) bi-weekly hourly timesheets
- Handle other administrative and accounting projects as needed
- Report to the Accounting Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Up to 2 years of financial experience
- Familiarity with accounting processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work on many different projects at one time
- Excellent Microsoft Office experience
- SAP preferred
