About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing large, complex turnkey jobs or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance
Managing the development of project plans in advance of project activity, assuring effective execution by the Project Team and monitoring the project’s progress to assure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan
Supervising and directing the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start up, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects
Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project and upon project completion

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years’ experience in technical execution of projects for heavy industry; Metals industry experience is preferred.
Understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these in managing assigned projects.
Construction / site management experience of large Turnkey projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Self-starter with experience in meeting project deliverables, working in a matrix team environment where everyone pulls together
PMP certification preferred
Ability to travel domestically up to 20% and internationally up to 10%, including presence at project sites during critical installation, commissioning, or outage phases
