About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control documentation.
Calibrate and verify field devices including transmitters, sensors, and other instrumentation.
Perform system checks including slot assignments, output verification, failsafe structure validation, loop checks, and function testing.
Operate electrical test equipment such as multimeters and mergers.
Conduct instrument loop calculations and operational setpoint verification.
Prepare accurate field reports documenting conditions, corrective actions, and results.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support commissioning and field work.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field) discipline or technical diploma from college or university.
Three years of military experience in a relevant technical role.
One year of experience in related engineering or controls environment.
Strong analytical skills related to engineering problem solving.
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, electronic mail required.
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel 70% of the year to remote work sites, both domestically and internationally.
