About the role
- Support strategic sales activities by providing technical expertise during customer engagements, including specification review, feasibility assessments, and solution optimization.
- Collaborate with Senior Sales Executives to develop proposals that meet customer requirements and project objectives.
- Conduct technical evaluations and performance analysis to ensure compliance with U.S. standards and customer expectations.
- Act as a liaison between customers and engineering/manufacturing teams in Japan, facilitating clear communication and timely execution.
- Gather and analyze customer requirements and competitive intelligence to inform product customization and new product development.
- Assist in technical presentations and represent the company at industry events when required.
- Promote sustainability and contribute to knowledge sharing by mentoring junior team members and fostering cross-cultural collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales or engineering within HVAC, refrigeration, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in delivering cooling solutions using centrifugal chillers in the North American market.
- Strong technical knowledge of centrifugal chillers, HVAC products, and cooling systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions.
- Familiarity with U.S. regulations, energy efficiency standards, refrigerant trends, and industry guidelines.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Strong commitment to compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
