About the role
- Serve as a liaison between engineering, project management, EPC partners, suppliers, and customers.
- Support the integration of engineering, scheduling, and purchasing activities to ensure steam turbine and generator scope is executed in accordance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and resolve technical issues related to steam turbine and generator scope between EPCs, suppliers, and customers during project execution.
- Develop and maintain division of responsibilities and working procedures with turbine and generator suppliers and affiliates.
- Review project documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with contract requirements and document flow processes.
- Support interdisciplinary coordination across engineering teams and lead resolution of interface issues.
- Participate in project meetings with internal teams and international partners to support successful project implementation.
- Perform other such duties as may be required.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering discipline or technical diploma from college or university and 1-3 Years extensive direct experience with an EPC firm, steam turbine and or generator OEM, or power-related industry is required.
- Experience with working knowledge of engineering codes and standards is desired.
- Strong analytical skills related to engineering problem solving.
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, electronic mail required.
- Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
