About the role

  • The Project Financial Analyst II is responsible for managing and analyzing the financial performance of New Generation Systems (NGS) projects.
  • This role supports project managers and finance leadership through accurate budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • The position also leads efforts, collaborates with leadership, and provides strategic oversight to ensure efficiencies.

  • Track, control, and forecast project budgets in accordance with company accounting policies.
  • Lead monthly Estimation at Completion (EAC) reviews and validate financial projections.
  • Monitor cash flow, invoicing, and cost allocation in coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial reports including variance analysis, budget tracking, and cash flow summaries.
  • Identify financial risks, cost overruns, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support close financial activities and audits while contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant Finance, Accounting, and Business discipline or technical diploma from college or university and 5 Years extensive direct experience project financial analysis and SAP system is required.
  • Experience with Financial forecasting and cost analysis desired.
  • Strong analytical skills related to engineering problem solving.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, electronic mail required.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Minimal travel is required 5-10%.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
