About the role
- Install and re‑arrange complex equipment.
- Diagnose complex equipment failures.
- Dismantle, repair, and re‑assemble complex equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs.
- Install and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Install and troubleshoot pneumatic systems.
- Install and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe conditions.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Protect confidential information.
- Maintain a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or at least three years of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Ability to solve problems using written, verbal, or diagram instructions.
- Basic computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, electrical risk, and varying environmental conditions.
