About the role

  • Assigned to the New Generation Systems (NGS) Business Unit, responsible for implementing and executing complete, on-time delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage a team of supply chain professionals, coordinates with internal departments and external suppliers, and drives continuous improvement.
  • Lead procurement of goods and services associated with GTCC contracts managed by the NGS Project Execution organization.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for procurement plans associated with NGS projects.
  • Support supplier qualification process and maintain supplier performance evaluations.
  • Develop systems to identify and reduce/eliminate rework of equipment delivered as part of NGS projects.
  • Improve on-time delivery performance, product quality and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals and communicate effectively with subordinates and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ambassador of change management for processes, systems and organizational values.
  • Proven experience enhancing corporate culture.
  • Strong strategic and organizational agility in a cross functional organizational structure.
  • Deep knowledge of projects, service and/or construction management involving power systems.
  • Strong experience with combustion turbines, steam turbines, generators, auxiliary equipment associated with turbines and generators, and balance of plant (BOP) systems.
  • Demonstrated success with equipment cost reduction, lead time reduction and quality control.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and SAP.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, organizational skills and consistent constructive feedback given and received.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
