About the role
- Responsibility for our projects – from planning through to successful implementation
- Combining organizational skills with technical know-how
- Independent management of engineering tasks and coordination of construction sites as well as commissioning
- Ensuring that complex plants operate efficiently and reliably
- Central point of contact between customers, interdisciplinary teams and partners
- Preparation of technical documentation
- Conducting training for operating personnel on safe and efficient plant operation
Requirements
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of project management experience, ideally in the automation industry
- Deep knowledge of automation systems (switchgear, drive technology, control and supervisory (SCADA) systems)
- Experience in engineering processes as well as site coordination and commissioning
- Familiarity with industrial plants, organizational structures and a practical, solution-oriented working style – ideally in the steel industry
- Knowledge of and certification in common project management methodologies
- Willingness to travel for site and commissioning assignments
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Very good German and English skills
