About the role
- Development of products and concepts for electric steel production and secondary metallurgy, with a focus on electric arc furnace (EAF) processes
- Participation in R&D projects
- Preparation of modernization studies and modernization concepts
- Execution of international assignments during plant commissioning
- Preparation of requirement profiles/specifications for newly developed products
Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in the steel industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Regular domestic and international business travel (approximately 30%)
