About the role
- Manage and maintain the company's primary network environment (wired and wireless), including routing and switching.
- Configure and manage virtual networks, user-defined routing, security groups, and hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
- Maintain IP addressing (IPAM), DNS, and DHCP services in hybrid environments.
- Plan and perform firmware/software updates, rule reviews, and policy optimizations.
- Design, document, and optimize network topologies and connectivity models for scalable, secure, and resilient environments.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure architectural consistency and operational efficiency.
- Lead technical assessments for network modernization, performance optimization, and integration of new services.
- Administer and configure enterprise-grade firewall and traffic management platforms (NGFW, WAF, SD-WAN, ADC), with a focus on reliability and security.
- Support and improve secure remote access solutions (SASE, ZTNA, VPN), load balancing, and application delivery mechanisms.
- Contribute to the design of resilient networks by incorporating redundancy strategies and disaster recovery alignments to support business continuity and operational reliability.
- Ensure network architecture incorporates secure design principles, including segmentation, policy enforcement, and alignment with organizational standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001).
Requirements
- More than 7 years of progressive experience in network engineering, operations, or architecture.
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise network and security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments, with a strong understanding of connectivity, segmentation, and integration principles.
- Familiarity with load balancing, SD-WAN, and secure access solutions (SASE, ZTNA, VPN).
- Experience in network monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in complex environments.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools is considered a major asset.
- Relevant technical certifications in networking, security, or cloud are advantageous.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into network strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable balancing operational priorities with project-related improvements.
- Collaborative mindset; works effectively with peers in security, cloud, and infrastructure.
- Align network architectural decisions with business continuity, scalability, and cost-efficiency objectives.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
