About the role
- Provide support services for supply chain related activities focused on operational excellence, digitalization, and process improvement
- Enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness through analysis and optimization of business processes
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to analyze current supply chain processes
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement using process mining techniques
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements, ensuring sustainable results
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain through the adoption of advanced technologies
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement digital solutions
- Champion the use of automation, AI, and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making
- Ensure alignment of digitalization projects with overall business objectives and strategic priorities
- Utilize process mining tools and techniques to visualize and understand end-to-end processes
- Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs and measure process efficiency
- Work closely with supply chain teams to implement best practices and standardized processes
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to build capabilities and awareness of process improvement and digital tools
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget, including the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Communicate project updates and outcomes to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) from a four-year accredited college or university
- Degree or concentration preferences include Engineering (all disciplines), Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Economics, International Business, etc.
- Experience in process analysis, process mapping, or process mining in a supply chain or operational environment
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements
- Practical knowledge of digitalization initiatives, automation, and analytics tools
- Experience with process mining software or digital project implementation is a plus
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
- Ability to clearly document, present, and explain process improvement recommendations and outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to calculate percentages, growth rates, proportions, and other mathematical concepts
- Understanding of managerial/financial accounting practices is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- ERP system experience (such as SAP) is an advantage
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
