Key responsibilities & impact

Originate, structure, and close asset-based lines of credit funded directly by MITSUBISHI HC CAPITAL AMERICA
Drive new business growth by establishing and achieving quarterly and annual funding volume, fee income, and growth objectives
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities sourced through direct origination efforts and referral partners
Cultivate, expand, and manage relationships with referral sources and lender partners
Prepare pre-screen memoranda and present transactions to underwriting prior to issuing proposals or term sheets
Manage overall transaction execution, including counterparty negotiations and ongoing communications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Approximately 10–15+ years of progressive experience in commercial lending, asset-based lending, or specialty finance
Proven track record of originating and closing ABL transactions
Established network of referral sources and industry relationships
Experience underwriting, structuring, and closing senior secured revolving and term lending products, including ABL
Ability to clearly articulate and sell MITSUBISHI HC CAPITAL AMERICA's non-bank value proposition
Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting, loan documentation, and deal structuring
Ability to negotiate effectively while balancing client needs and corporate objectives
Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
BA / BS in Business or equivalent experience required
Master’s or MBA preferred
