About the role
- Administer and process monthly payroll for employees in Greece using CloudPay or other payroll systems.
- Ensure full compliance with Greek employment law, social insurance (EFKA), and tax authority (AADE) requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee data related to salaries, bonuses, benefits, deductions, and leave.
- Prepare and submit all statutory filings, such as ERGANI submissions and monthly APD reports.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data, support audits, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor legislative updates affecting payroll and advise management on required adjustments.
- Handle employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially.
- Support payroll reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience within Greece or similar jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with CloudPay (preferred) or similar payroll/HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP).
- Strong knowledge of Greek payroll legislation, tax, and social security processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
