About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Clean the plant, office, and assigned areas to meet operational standards
  • Assist production as assigned and directed
  • Follow oral instructions to identify materials or containers to be moved, replaced, or reordered
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or forklift
  • Lift heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist
  • Deep clean work areas, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues
  • Some PC skills helpful, but not required
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to attend scheduled shifts, arrive on time, and be ready at the workstation at shift start
