About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides day-to-day support via telephone, email, and in-person visits to MRES Members for utility billing, financials, and payroll software platforms
  • investigates, diagnoses, and resolves issues related to utility billing, financials, and payroll
  • Escalates complex technical issues to vendor support and development teams as needed
  • Builds strong, value-driven relationships with Members to ensure their satisfaction and success
  • Assists with billing corrections, credits, and adjustments
  • Translates complex concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance for Members
  • Provides remote training to Members via telephone and email
  • Prepares training resources including presentations, documentation, and training curriculum for Members
  • Represents MRES on industry, development, and project committees, task forces, and conferences as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in energy or related field
  • five years related experience and/or training
  • ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software; and Word Processing software
  • familiarity with Tyler Technologies programs, especially InCode version 9 and 10 a plus
  • must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
