About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides day-to-day support via telephone, email, and in-person visits to MRES Members for utility billing, financials, and payroll software platforms
investigates, diagnoses, and resolves issues related to utility billing, financials, and payroll
Escalates complex technical issues to vendor support and development teams as needed
Builds strong, value-driven relationships with Members to ensure their satisfaction and success
Assists with billing corrections, credits, and adjustments
Translates complex concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance for Members
Provides remote training to Members via telephone and email
Prepares training resources including presentations, documentation, and training curriculum for Members
Represents MRES on industry, development, and project committees, task forces, and conferences as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in energy or related field
five years related experience and/or training
ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software; and Word Processing software
familiarity with Tyler Technologies programs, especially InCode version 9 and 10 a plus
must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
