About the role

  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff
  • Conduct network design and implementation, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls
  • Execute maintenance and monitoring of network devices
  • Conduct testing, analyze traffic, report usage trends
  • Author documentation and reporting metrics; prepare status reports
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and training to junior engineers

Requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
  • 2-4 years of hands-on network engineering experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required; ability to obtain Top Secret preferred
  • Proficiency in networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
  • Expertise with hardware/software such as Juniper routers/switches, SRXs, Aruba Wireless/switches, CradlePoint
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (e.g., GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools for traffic analysis, capacity planning, and performance optimization
  • Experience with security practices (e.g., IPSec, Radius/TACACS+, 802.1x)
  • JNCIA-Junos, CCNA, Security+, or equivalent required; CCNP or JNCIS-ENT preferred
