About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct technical analysis of existing and emerging foreign military capabilities and tactics to provide advice to senior leaders
- Maintains up to date knowledge on all aspects of security cooperation policy, plans, and programs
- Develop and deliver security cooperation plans and training concepts to improve allies and partners military capacities
- Review U.S., allies, and partners existing and emerging military policies to provide advice to senior leaders
- Performs liaison duties with allies, partners, and other U.S. government organization to maximize the effectiveness of security cooperation programs and political-military coordination
- Participate in the review of program documentation for public release
- Additional duties as assigned or required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
- Prior military experience
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Associates with a minimum of 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR recognized major industry certification with at least 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR a total of 11 years of recent specialized experience without a degree or certification
- 5+ years recent, prior experience at the Service Component Command or Higher Headquarters
