About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops and uses technical documents including controlled work packages, formal work processes and procedures, test documents, reports and task or trip reports
- Schedules, reports and briefs customers and senior management
- Collaborating with cableway shipboard team on day-to-day activities
- Performs duties outside of specialty in order to complete installation or work assignment
- Works from blueprints, tech manuals
- Receives instructions on semi-routine and difficult assignments
- Performs all necessary tasks (semi-skilled and unskilled) laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of systems and equipment
- Conducts on-site installation of equipment and follows established testing procedures to ensure proper working order
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 4 years of related experience
- Experience with marine electrical systems
- Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty
- Must have demonstrated competence in Microsoft applications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
