About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develops and uses technical documents including controlled work packages, formal work processes and procedures, test documents, reports and task or trip reports
Schedules, reports and briefs customers and senior management
Collaborating with cableway shipboard team on day-to-day activities
Performs duties outside of specialty in order to complete installation or work assignment
Works from blueprints, tech manuals
Receives instructions on semi-routine and difficult assignments
Performs all necessary tasks (semi-skilled and unskilled) laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of systems and equipment
Conducts on-site installation of equipment and follows established testing procedures to ensure proper working order

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 4 years of related experience
Experience with marine electrical systems
Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty
Must have demonstrated competence in Microsoft applications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
