About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review submitted DD Form 1494's/EL-CID
- Compare requested allocation bands with ITU and US Tables of Frequency Allocations
- Proactively coordinate with Service field spectrum agencies
- Work closely with SPO Program Managers and Project Engineers
- Submit applications to and coordinates with the NTIA-SPS
- Prepare Military Communications-Electronics Board (MC4EB) guidance memorandums
- Prepare Host Nation Coordination Requests (HNCR)
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated command of engineering principles, methods, and techniques in area of expertise
- Experience in DoD spectrum management, RF engineering, or frequency allocation coordination
- Working knowledge of NTIA and ITU
- Advanced knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software
- Effective customer and organizational level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
