Key responsibilities & impact

Review submitted DD Form 1494's/EL-CID
Compare requested allocation bands with ITU and US Tables of Frequency Allocations
Proactively coordinate with Service field spectrum agencies
Work closely with SPO Program Managers and Project Engineers
Submit applications to and coordinates with the NTIA-SPS
Prepare Military Communications-Electronics Board (MC4EB) guidance memorandums
Prepare Host Nation Coordination Requests (HNCR)

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
Demonstrated command of engineering principles, methods, and techniques in area of expertise
Experience in DoD spectrum management, RF engineering, or frequency allocation coordination
Working knowledge of NTIA and ITU
Advanced knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software
Effective customer and organizational level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
