About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and operate facility security systems for access control, intrusion detection, and electronic surveillance
- Operate Avigilon in support of facility operations and security manager directed investigations
- Monitor, test, and report status of security systems to the Command Security Manager
- Conduct semi-annual tests per requirements
- Respond, assess, troubleshoot, repair security system components as needed
- Coordinate with security managers, network engineers, and security specialists as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years additional education and/or related experience
- Basic technical knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
- Mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair
- General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
- Level 2: 2 years additional education and/or related experience
- Level 3: 4 years additional education and/or related experience
- Level 4: 6 years additional education and/or related experience
