About the role

  • Perform a variety of test duties in support of 31st Combat Training Squadron’s Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) training systems
  • Support the JSE engineering team to prioritize and execute test objectives
  • Perform component and system-level testing on JSE software, electrical, and mechanical components
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze simulator system test data for reports and documentation
  • Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of malfunctions of simulators and support equipment
  • Support simulator development and testing on Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop components
  • Generate relevant test data and report to support submission of deficiency reports (DRs)

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
  • 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have had an Active DOD Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance.
  • Experience with Man-In-The-Loop (MITL) military flight simulators is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in programming languages in Red Hat Linux environments, such as C and C++, is desired.
