conducting comprehensive analysis of alternatives (AoA)
evaluating and comparing existing/emerging IT platforms and software
evaluating and comparing software solutions to determine their viability and effectiveness within the AFRL/IZ organization.
developing detailed documentation outlining the strengths, weaknesses, and potential impact of various technologies to the AFRL and DoD complex.
developing, leading, and participating in pilot programs of selected technology alternatives
collaborating with stakeholders across different departments to ensure successful pilot execution and informed technology decision-making
Requirements
10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 5 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 3 years’ experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 15 years relevant experience.
Active Security Clearance preferred or ability to acquire a Secret level clearance required.
Basic knowledge of government IT acquisition processes including IT onboarding (ATO/RMF) processes
Extensive knowledge of a wide range of technologies both commercial and non-commercial
Knowledge of DoD Architectural Framework (DoDAF) and The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF) preferred
Understanding of complex systems, integrations, and interactions with other systems
The candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to translate technical information into business terms and present summarized information to an audience at various levels of leadership/IT expertise
