About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

design, build, and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions
bridge business objectives with technical execution by leading cloud architecture, infrastructure migrations, automation, and governance initiatives in AWS environments
develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration
implement robust security controls , including IAM policies, encryption, VPC architecture, network security, and Zero Trust principles to meet DoD RMF, FedRAMP, and other compliance requirements
optimize cloud environments through monitoring, cost analysis, performance tuning, and resource management
support containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes for microservices and scalable workloads
develop automation pipelines and integrate with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to streamline deployment processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep expertise in AWS cloud platforms , services, and best practices
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python (or similar languages)
Solid understanding of networking, security (IAM, VPC, encryption) , and Zero Trust models
Experience with containerization ( Docker ) and orchestration ( Kubernetes )
Ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative team settings
Self-motivated initiator with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance
