About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and test RF and/or microwave systems architecture, components, and products
Apply engineering theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex and advanced technical problems
Plan, conduct, and direct projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of radar, communication systems, and phased array system designs
Work directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex RF systems
Conduct exploratory R&D alongside researchers in physics, mathematics, and related science disciplines
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data packages to document methodology, results, and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree from a top‑100 accredited institution in physics, mathematics, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, signal processing, or related fields (Electronics Engineer 2)
3 years relevant experience with Master’s degree from a top‑100 accredited institution in physics, mathematics, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, signal processing, or related fields (Electronics Engineer 3)
Submission of unofficial transcripts with undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher and graduate GPA of 3.75 or higher
Background in signal processing theory or research
Experience in RF systems, radar, communications, or related electromagnetic systems
Proficiency in mathematical modeling and algorithm development
Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance
