About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and test RF and/or microwave systems architecture, components, and products
  • Apply engineering theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex and advanced technical problems
  • Plan, conduct, and direct projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of radar, communication systems, and phased array system designs
  • Work directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex RF systems
  • Conduct exploratory R&D alongside researchers in physics, mathematics, and related science disciplines
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data packages to document methodology, results, and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree from a top‑100 accredited institution in physics, mathematics, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, signal processing, or related fields (Electronics Engineer 2)
  • 3 years relevant experience with Master’s degree from a top‑100 accredited institution in physics, mathematics, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, signal processing, or related fields (Electronics Engineer 3)
  • Submission of unofficial transcripts with undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher and graduate GPA of 3.75 or higher
  • Background in signal processing theory or research
  • Experience in RF systems, radar, communications, or related electromagnetic systems
  • Proficiency in mathematical modeling and algorithm development
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance
