About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and multiple levels of DoW organizations to plan and execute comprehensive training and assessment schedules
  • Travel internationally to provide assessment and observation support
  • Research and stay up-to-date on international tactics, techniques, and procedures for UAS/CUAS operations
  • Assist in the integration of UAS/CUAS into the larger ISR data collection plan for both peacetime and potentially forward-deployed locations
  • Apply analysis and communications expertise, to analyze, evaluate issues, and develop recommendations to resolve substantive problems/issues of effectiveness and suitability
  • Support technical publications in developing for customer releases test planning, test procedures, and test reports
  • Support technical and functional leadership through the identification of risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 9 years relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 7 years relevant experience with master's in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
  • Experience with UAS/CUAS and their operational capability in a large, layered defense environment with emphasis on military operations
  • Experience with CUAS critical system components such as: kinetic and non-kinetic effects, radar, EO/IR, targeting cameras/lasers, etc.
  • Experience in UAS related governing guidance, UAS program maintenance requirements, basic operational capability, and regular reporting requirements
  • Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain a TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Willing to travel for extended periods of time. Deployment times will vary and typically last between two and three weeks
