About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer unit support programs such as Vehicle Control Officer, facility management, task management, safety, security, and monitor Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts
Schedule and track vehicle scheduled/unscheduled maintenance as required
Prepare vehicles for deployment, transfer and disposition
Inspect, identify and correct minor work facility discrepancies
Work with base Civil Engineers to fix major building repairs and/or safety related issues
Research, purchase, stock, and issue pilot specific equipment
Coordinate with unit Resource Advisor for funding to replenish stock when required
Serve as the primary source of information regarding unit support programs
Assist the commander/director, in accomplishing all necessary internal operations
Identify and implement processes that may be improved or made more efficient
Train, orient, and oversee the duties and work products of squadron POCs
Develop and implement procedures to track program status and maintain program health
Perform other clerical and administrative work as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
Experience working in a Fighter Squadron/Group/Wing Commander's Support Section
Experience working with Air Force or DoD computer programs, sites, or software
