About the role
- Provide support on information operation actions, policy and authorities
- Develop information operation strategy, guidance, and concept of operations
- Coordinate themes and messaging and gain situational awareness
- Support operational planning teams and working groups
- Integrate cyber capabilities into plans and support Combatant Commander planning efforts
- Coordinate cyberspace operations planning activities through the IJSTO
- Use advanced technical planning methodologies across phases of military operations
- Coordinate development of cyberspace operations plans, contingency plans, CONOPs and orders
- Provide technical expertise for all phases and steps of the JPP and APEX activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Serving as Joint Operations Planner (preferred)
- Completion of advanced service planner school may substitute four years planning experience (SAMS, SAASS, JAWS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the JPP, JOPES and APEX planning formats and guidance
- Experience leading and participating in JPGs and OPG/OPT
- Experience coordinating cyberspace operations planning via the IJSTO, including Evaluation Request and Response Messages, SAP procedures and the RAPCO
- Expertise in operational design, Joint Operation Planning and APEX
- Experience coordinating development of cyberspace operations plans, contingency plans, CONOPs and orders
- Ability to establish joint operations planning objectives without supervision
