About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute the procurement of materials, equipment and services including price, availability, and delivery schedule
Review requests for completeness and clarity, obtain missing information and provide timely response to purchase requests
Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQ’s), source selections, and analyze results
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms
Perform price analyses using a variety of FAR approved techniques
Manage supplier relationships and performance issues related to on time delivery and quality
Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic purchasing records and data documenting performance and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Experience working with U.S. government contracts, including FAR/DFAR regulations including CPSR requirements
Ability to work both in a team and individually
Multi-task and work well under pressure
Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction
Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
