About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators
Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or, 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Must currently hold a DoW secret clearance and be able to maintain
Security+ or equivalent certification required
Experience with Windows Servers 2016/2019 and Active Directory
Experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations
Experience with VMware
Familiarity with VDI technologies and protocols
