Key responsibilities & impact

Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements
Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems
Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests
Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field
2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience
Mechanical experience troubleshooting and repairing U.S. Navy Ships
Ability to manage a team, conduct performance evaluations, and provide technical guidance
Must have ability to obtain and maintain DBIDS (Base Access)
Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Security Clearance
