About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work onsite at the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center- Corona (NSWC-Corona) in providing LVC training for US Marine Corps
Assist with the planning, design, and execution of Marine Corps LVC training events
Support on-site and distributed training events at other sites, as directed
Serve as NSWC-Corona’s C2 Systems Integrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of LVC training events
Communicate with the LVC Mission Coordinator on any technical or operational issues
Assist the Mission Coordinator in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies that align with goals of the training program
Advise the MC on the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems
Assist the Mission Coordinator in working with the Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field or High School Diploma and 9 years relevant experience
Must have experience with military C4I systems’ operational and technical integration and system administration
Candidate must have the ability to recognize and troubleshoot C4I system problems to assure continued execution of war gaming events
Experience in Windows system administration
Knowledge of managing clients in a virtual operating system environment
Must have experience implementing required system upgrades, configuration changes and security patches while maintaining system functionality
Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoW secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret if required
Well-developed personal and written communication skills
Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools
Required IT certifications: Windows Operating System CompTIA Security + CE (or equivalent or higher)
