Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct requirements analysis, documentation, modeling activities, configuration updates, and system integration tasks
Perform engineering research, technical investigations, or data analysis for active projects
Prepare engineering diagrams, technical materials, and model‑based documentation for project reviews and engineering events
Provide administrative and technical support during team stand‑ups, coordination meetings, and engineering reviews
Support project assignments by maintaining technical records, logs, and engineering artifacts
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the ITS SE engineering team

Requirements

What you’ll need

0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
Familiarity with systems engineering concepts or technical fundamentals (e.g., programming basics such as C/C++ or Java, modeling/simulation principles, or system architecture concepts)
Willingness to learn and apply Model Based Systems Engineering processes
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail
Self‑motivated with a desire to gain practical experience in an engineering environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Do.D Secret clearance
