Key responsibilities & impact

Provide mid-level system administration, lifecycle upgrades, and enterprise support for distributed Navy training environments
Ensure reliable operation of Linux- and Windows-based systems
Perform OS upgrade efforts
Provide technical support and leadership across sites
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems
Configure, upgrade, and administer Linux and Windows systems
Provide troubleshooting for the environment to support peers and coworkers
Document creation, review, updates, releasability reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience
Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Demonstrated ability to architect, manage, and secure complex enterprise-level systems and servers
Advanced proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Proven expertise with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Ability to obtain a DoD Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification or higher within 3 months of hire
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a current or active DoD Secret clearance
