About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, prepare, and maintain scheduling for day-to-day work onboard U.S Navy Aircraft Carrier’s HM&E engineering systems
Advise management on status of work, material availability, and potential production problems
Schedule equipment and personnel, and prepare work orders or purchase requests based on master production schedule
Control production schedules and coordinate material requirements
Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, etc.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field
2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience
Strong communication skills
Experience with MS Office
Knowledge of Naval shipbuilding and maintenance processes and procedures
Familiarity with Navy’s Maintenance, Material, Management (3M) supply systems
Working knowledge of quality assurance program practices and principles
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Confidential security clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain base access
