About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develops integrated product support documentation, including operator guides, maintenance manuals, and logistics products
Supports the Combined IAMD and ASW Trainer (CIAT) with a moderately technical military background
Monitor trouble reports and system failures
Coordinate with the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) to develop and maintain the lowest replacement units (LRU)
Maintain a spare parts pool in support of multiple operational CIAT sites
Maintain the tracking system for reporting component failure
Generate, tech edit and redline both preventive and corrective maintenance documentation
Monitor and provide inputs for COTS obsolescence management
Manage the system configuration in the iPDM database for accuracy and updates to components

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
0 years experience with Masters in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
Experience in Navy combat systems operations and maintenance
Experience in system acquisition and sustainment phase of life cycle support
General understanding of the Navy ILS process
Experience with commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment
General knowledge with Windows and Redhat software
Knowledge/experience with AEGIS or other Navy Combat Systems
Above average expertise in Microsoft Office applications (MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Word)
