About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze complex operational issues and provide recommendations on military command and control, contingency operations, force planning, and training exercises.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the design, development, and execution of war games, experiments, and exercises.
- Assist in creating scenario materials, including intelligence reports, operational messaging, and assessments for tactical and operational-level training.
- Collaborate with military and civilian subject matter experts to define, clarify, and document requirements.
- Evaluate program and technical options against stated requirements and joint doctrine.
- Apply analytical techniques to assess training effectiveness, develop metrics, and contribute to Concepts of Operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefs summarizing findings, identifying deficiencies, and recommending improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI access.
- Demonstrated understanding of joint planning and exercise principles.
- Skilled in applying research and analytical methods to support the development and execution of war games, experiments, and training exercises
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be able to travel up to 20–25%.
