About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identifies and implements business development projects relating to professional services
  • Performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models
  • Works with sales, marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs
  • Develop and execute an account strategy and pipeline to win new business within DoW ADO market areas
  • Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities, with high Pwin potential, on prime contracts worth over $50M
  • Engage customers in identifying and shaping potential opportunities using knowledge of the customer’s mission and challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • Five or more years of specific successful Business Development, Capture Management or Program Management experience within the defense or federal market areas
  • Established and extensive customer relationships with relevant senior and mid-level leadership in DoW or federal customers
  • Proven ability to form strategic industry partnerships and possess existing relationships with large and small businesses in the federal and commercial market
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership
  • Ability to travel as required to develop opportunity pipelines, shape opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and attend industry days and conferences
  • Clearance- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance
