About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform system integration and verification / validation testing of system requirements
Support technical planning and evaluations of alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and manufacturability
Communicate task status with clarity and brevity
Identify, articulate, and manage risks
Manage internal and external relationships
Create and maintain various reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers, to ensure a cohesive and effective system design
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence (Level 5)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working within government contracts
Technical and problem-solving intuition
Ability to anticipate and mitigate programmatic implications of system challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with government stakeholders, company leadership, and technical subject matter experts in a wide range of disciplines
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Experience authoring and implementing system level and component level test plans and leading system integration efforts
Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
