About the role
- Serve as the technical lead for a team of SharePoint/Power Platform administrators and developers and mentor junior team members
- Lead troubleshooting and escalation efforts for complex SharePoint, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 issues
- Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments (On-Premises and/or Online)
- Implement and maintain security, permissions, and governance policies
- Partner with stakeholders to design and deploy SharePoint sites, document libraries, workflows, and content management solutions
- Design, build, and support custom Power Apps applications to automate business processes and develop workflows using Power Automate
- Integrate Power Apps solutions with SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 tools
- Establish governance, security, and lifecycle management standards for Power Apps solutions and provide training to business units
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions leveraging SharePoint and Power Apps together; optimize platform performance, scalability, and usability
- Partner with business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into SharePoint and Power Platform solutions; provide executive-level reporting on system health, project status, and team performance
- Champion adoption of Microsoft 365 collaboration and automation tools across the organization
Requirements
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint (2016/2019/Online) administration and solution delivery
- 5+ years of experience designing and building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate
- 3+ years in a senior or technical lead capacity, guiding a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint and Power Platform governance, security, and administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., Power Platform App Maker Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, SharePoint Administrator, Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator Associate)
- Experience with Power BI integration and reporting
- Experience with SharePoint migrations (on-prem to Online, tenant-to-tenant)
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Active Directory, and Azure AD integration
- Experience in Agile or ITIL-based environments
- Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain
- Required Travel: 0 - 10%
- Physical Requirements: May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment; Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances
