About the role

  • Manage the full lifecycle of standard and non-standard contracts, including administration, negotiation, modifications, extensions, and closeout
  • Support proposal development by preparing contract volumes, contributing to pricing strategies, and ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and partners in alignment with company policies, FAR/DFARS requirements, and customer specifications
  • Review estimates, pricing data, material and service requirements, and performance criteria for completeness and compliance
  • Prepare bids and maintain contract-specific documentation, reports, and historical records
  • Serve as a primary liaison with internal teams and external customers, advising leadership on contractual rights, obligations, risks, and opportunities
  • Analyze contract data, performance metrics, and financial impacts to support decision-making
  • Develop and maintain contract-specific estimating tools and templates
  • Share knowledge and best practices through training, mentoring, and consistent guidance to teammates

Requirements

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
  • 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop colleagues in contracting principles and practices
  • Demonstrated experience managing IDIQ contracts
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, as this position creates contract-specific estimating templates
  • Experience with NSWCPD or NIWC contracts
  • Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS
  • Ability to create, maintain, and improve pricing or estimating tools
  • Experience supporting cross-functional proposal or contracting teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
